Samara and Peanut

Samara studied veterinary nursing in Christchurch, New Zealand where she worked part time at a cattery before deciding to pursue a career in veterinary nursing. A few years ago she jumped the ditch and made the move to Melbourne. Samara has been with us at Melbourne Cat Vets since we first opened, and is pretty much the backbone of the clinic! She especially enjoys feline behaviour and nutrition, as well as the surgical side of nursing.

Since moving to Melbourne she enjoys getting outdoors and seeing beautiful Australia. She also enjoys exploring the city and being able to try new things. Like many, she can’t say no to a good movie and cuddles from her cat. Her cat has managed to gain many names, officially “Mr. Peanut Horatio” but he also answers to Mr. P and Peanut. Peanut was up for adoption at her previous clinic but chose Samara as his human and they have been inseparable since!
